Cusco to Cruzpata Atv Base, Salt Mines of Moray
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and provide transportation to the first destination Cruzpata, where our base camp is located. After a quick practice, you will continue to Moray. You will see how advanced the Incas were in their agricultural techniques, such as the terraced system and irrigation by aqueducts. In Moray, for example, they used circular terraces that demonstrate the high level of culture that the Inca civilization achieved after visiting this amazing place, we will continue to our next destination, the salt mines of Maras. Duration: 20 minutes Stop at: Maras Salt Mines, Road to Maras Urubamba, The salt mines or the famous “salt pools” are located in the rural community of Pichingoto. This site is highly recommended for photography lovers due to its impressive landscape that extends in all its splendor, the local people still earn salt like their ancestors. After the salt mines, we will transfer to the base to return to Cusco.
