  • BRIEFING:

    We will have a meeting prior to your trip with the guide at our office for a tour orientation. The meeting will be at 6:30 pm.

     

  • EXPERIENCE OF OUR GUIDES:

    All our guides have a minimum experience of 3 years, our guides are: professional, responsible, nature and mountain lovers. They will make you a safe and happy trip.

     

  • FIRST AID:

    All our guides received first aid courses in high mountain, our guides always carry a basic first aid kit (altitude pills, diarrhea, vomiting, curtes, creams for muscular pains.) also oxygen in case of emergencies.

     

  • TRANSPORTATION:

    The following transportation services required within the tour are included:

    – Tourist Transportation Cusco – Mollepata trip of approximately 02h and 30 minutes.
    – Transportation Mollepata – Challacancha, trip of approximately 45 minutes.
    – Tourist train Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo.
    – TOURIST Transport Ollantaytambo – Cusco station (Plaza regocijo).

     

  • ENTRANCE TICKET:

    Entrance ticket to the Inca city of Machupicchu.

     

  • TRAIN TICKETS:

    Return train schedules – The schedules we work with are the 14:55 and/or 21:50 EXPEDITION TRAIN.

Itinerary

Day 1: CUSCO – SORAYPAMPA

We start the day picking you up from your hotel from 04.30 AM, then we will go in a tourist bus passing through the towns of Izcuchaca and Limatambo arriving at Mollepata (2900m.s.n.m) where we will be approximately at 7:30 AM arriving at the town we will be charged s/ 20. 00 nuevos soles which is the entrance to Mollepata and Humantay lagoon, we will also have our first breakfast and we can leave our 05 kilos for our riders, then we will take a transport that will take us to Challacancha for 1 hour (3380m.a.s.l.). m), from that point we will start our hike in approximately 3 hours arriving to Soraypampa (3900m.s.n.m) where we will be arriving at 1.30 pm there we will take our first lunch and first camp after lunch we will go to the beautiful lagoon of humantay.

LAGUNA HUMANTAY: Ascenso por 1;30 minutos donde llegaremos a la impressive humantay lagoon (4220 masl) where we can appreciate the turquoise color of the lagoon and the snow-capped Apu Humantay and then starting to descend for 40 minutes to our camp Soraypampa for tea time which is approximately 18.00 pm hours and then we will have our delicious dinner prepared by our chef, finally we will go to our cabins.

Day 2: SORAYMAPA –SALKANTAY- COLPAPAMPA

At 5:00 a.m. we will have a nutritious breakfast and then we will continue with our hike, we started from the Soraypampa point to the most important point of our

 

We will hike to the high Abra Salkantay (3 hours) where we will be able to appreciate the imposing snow-capped mountains Salkantay, Humantay, Tucarhuay and Pumasillo (4650m.a.s.l.) passing by Salkantaypampa and Soyrococha where we will appreciate a small lagoon.

Then we will begin the descent to Huayracmachay (3 hours) (3800m.a.s.l.) where we will take our lunch and then we will continue the hike where you will notice a dramatic change in the landscape, this hike is really impressive then we continue down to Colpapampa (3 hours) (2900m.a.s.l.) where we will be our second camp.

SORAYPAMPA-SALKANTAY-COLPAPAMPA (22 KM-10 HOURS)

Day 3: COLPAPAMPA - SAHUAYACO BEACH

We will have our breakfast at 06.00 am, then we will walk for 05.30 am. hours all through our jungle eyebrow with ascents and descents flat, in this journey we will appreciate coffee plantations, orchids, begoneas, bromeliads and many natural plants used for natural medicine, arriving at our lunch point Sahuayaco Beach where we will have lunch “buffet”. And we will rest at that point. It is a warm place and we will be in contact with nature.

06.00 pm, for our tea and dinner.

COLPAPAMPA –PLAYA- (12 KM. 5 HOURS)

Day 4: PLAYA SAHUAYACO- LUCMABAMBA –LLACTAPATA – HIDROELECTRICA-AGUAS CALIENTES

The sunrise will be inside a tropical zone, we will have our breakfast ready to taste, we will continue our journey towards Lucmabamba and Llacta pata for 3 hours to the ruins, and if we have a sunny and clear day we can appreciate from a distance part of the majestic Machupicchu then descend to hydroelectric for 2 hours where we will have lunch at the restaurant, then continue with our walk through tropical area to the town of Aguas Calientes for 3 hours and we will settle into the hotel and wait for our dinner in a restaurant.

SAHUAYACO BEACH – LUCMABAMBA- LLACTAPATA – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES (20 KM, 9 HOURS)

Day 5: AGUAS CALIENTES- MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

We will wake up very early in the morning to visit Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu to visit temples, terraces, palaces and the terraces, then you will have time to take pictures.
Afterwards you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to wait for your Expedition train at 14:55 or 18:20.

Note: If you have Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu mountain you would be entering in the first schedule of 6AM – 8AM taking into account that you will not have the guided tour to Machu Picchu because it does not give time for the guided tour you will go in front of the mountains mentioned.
