  • IN CUSCO:

    The rainy season runs from December to March. On some days the sky is still blue and allows a pleasant journey as the landscapes become an intense green.

    The rest of the year is considered dry season, with lots of sunshine and pleasant days, but very cold in the mornings and in the evenings from July to November, the weather is mostly sunny.

    IN MACHU PICCHU:

    HUAYNAPICCHU the mountain in front of the Inca citadel offers spectacular views, must be booked in advance and has a cost of $ 60 per person. The climb takes 1:30 hours and is moderately difficult, steep, very demanding but when you arrive you will be able to take very good pictures.

    It is recommended to bring a double change of clothes and waterproof shoes in rainy season because the weather is changeable.

    Keep in mind that in high season reservations for Machupicchu and Huaynapicchu should be made 3 months in advance so you will have a pleasant visit without setbacks.

Itinerary

Day 1: Recepción Y Bienvenida A La Ciudad De Cusco

Welcome and transfer from Cusco airport to the selected hotel, where the reception will be with a mate coca to get used to the altitude, then we will pass all the information about the city of Cusco.

In case your flight arrives in the morning you can ask your sales consultant for the walking tour in the city of Cusco (completely free) this tour will include only the professional guide in this tour will go deep into the history of the Incas, we will visit the viewpoint of San Cristobal, 7 borreguitos street, the aqueduct of Sapantiana the stone of the 12 angles, the main square and the market of San Pedro.

Day 2: Cusco City Tour:

The tour to the city and surroundings can choose between 2 schedules 09:00 am or 13:00 pm and the duration will be 5:30 hours:

We will visit the most important palace in the time of the Incas as is the Koricancha known as the “Temple of the Sun” highlights the impressive engineering used in its construction.

Sacsayhuaman Located 3 Km. from the city of Cusco, impressive fortress of monumental stones and excellent architecture. It is famous for its enormous carved stones, some of which are 9 m / 30 feet high and weigh more than 350 tons. This is where the Inti Raymi or “Festival of the Sun” takes place Qenqo Ceremonial and ritual center, amphitheater where sacrifices were made, Puca-Pucara Ancient tambo, guard post along the Inka roads. 
Tambomachay 7 Km. from Cusco, ceremonial center of water worship, traditionally known as the sacred place of water and Andean duality.

Day 3: Day 03: Cusco Sacred Valley of the Incas

After having breakfast at the hotel we will pick you up at 07. 30am to start the tour beginning with a visit to the viewpoint of Carao where we will have a magical view of the sacred valley, we will continue our tour visiting the archaeological park of Pisaq and its traditional market and then continue the journey on the Vilcanota River to reach the town of Urubamba where we will have lunch in a tourist restaurant, After lunch we will continue our trip to Ollantaytambo, considered as the living Inca city where we will visit the imposing temple of the sun and the magical water fountain. After the guided tour we will go to the train station to board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Transfer to the hotel, our guide will visit us at the hotel and give us an introduction to the most important day of Machu Picchu.

Day 4: Machupicchu full day

Your pick up will be at the hotel and we will coordinate the time days before. We will drive from Cusco to the train station in Ollantaytambo. The train ride to Aguas Calientes takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, passing by the Vilcanota River and seeing Inca remains along the way, including the traditional Inca Trail.

In Aguas Calientes, our staff will take you to the bus station to go to Machu Picchu, where you will be met by our guide. We will have a two-hour guided tour exploring the most important sites of Machu Picchu, including the Temple of the Sun, the Main Square and the Inti Watana, among others.

Then, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and the train back to Ollantaytambo, from where we will transfer by car back to Cusco.”

Day 5: Moray, Maras, and salt mines Half day tour

This tour begins with the pick up of the passengers from the hotel at 8:30am: 30am we will go through a paved road to these archaeological complexes this tour has a duration of approximately 6 hours, we will know the archaeological center of Moray known as the climatological laboratory of the Incas, a place where plants from different regions of Cusco were cultivated and the wonderful salt mines of Maras, where salt is extracted for consumption and distribution in the markets, we will be accompanied by an official tour guide, at the end of the visit we will return to the city of Cusco.

Day 6: Valle sur: ( 8;30am - 2:30pm)

we start the tour with the pick up of the group in their respective hotels 8:00 am to 8:30 am. we will have a 40 minutes trip to the first point of visit called Tipon an impressive large cultivation space that contains 12 terraces that are currently cultivated, whose walls were built with finely carved stones. Even more impressive is the irrigation system that is still serving agriculture. We will continue our tour in Pikillaqta. It presents characteristics of a large urban center corresponding to the time of development of the Wari empire, with more than a thousand buildings including squares, colcas (food deposits), courts or houses, temples, long and narrow streets with buildings that were up to 4 stories high. Andahuaylillas is a typical Andean village from colonial times of unique origin and architecture. It highlights its catholic temple of the colonial time with a beautiful decoration and mural painting of the XVII and XVIII century known as “The Sistine Chapel of America”. Saylla Cusco town where you can enjoy the delicious pork rinds (optional), return to Cusco at 3:00 pm.

Day 7: End of Services

At the coordinated time, our transportation will pick you up at your hotel for the transfer to the airport, end of our services.
